Why should I service my tankless water heater every year?
Annual flushing and descaling keeps your unit heating efficiently and running quietly. Just as important, most manufacturers require documented yearly maintenance to keep the warranty valid — skip it and a future failure may be entirely on you.
Does San Diego's water really make a difference?
Yes. San Diego has hard water, so mineral scale builds up inside the heat exchanger faster than in soft-water areas. Annual descaling clears that buildup and restores flow and efficiency.
I have a water softener — do I still need to flush it once a year?
Yes. A softener cuts down on scale, but it doesn't eliminate the need for annual maintenance. Manufacturers still require documented yearly service to honor the warranty, and softeners can run low on salt, get bypassed, or quietly stop working — so buildup can still creep in. An annual flush keeps you covered either way.
What's included in a cleaning?

Which brands do you service?
Every tankless brand — Rheem, Rinnai, Noritz, Navien, Takagi, and the rest. This is all Terry's Tankless does, so brand isn't an issue.
